SVG for 3D printing — keychains & emblems
Multi-color 3D prints need flat color plates, not photo-like traces. Drop a logo below, use the 3D print preset, and tune until each ink is a solid region you can extrude as a filament layer. Tracing runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
Why flat layers beat soft traces
AMS and other multi-material setups swap filament per color. Soft anti-aliased edges and tiny speckles become fragile walls or spurious color changes. The 3D print preset favors hard plate edges, saturated inks, and aggressive path omit so each color stays chunky enough to print.
Keychains
Keychains want bold silhouettes and 2–4 colors. Crop to the mark, drop speckles until hairlines vanish, and keep holes large enough for a ring. If text is thin, thicken it in the source image or expect to edit paths after export.
Emblems and badges
Emblems read best as stacked plates: background, mid shapes, then highlights. Prefer solid fills over outlines — thin engraved lines often become noisy single-pixel layers. Match color count to how many filaments you will load, not how many shades the logo “almost” has.
From SVG to the printer
This tool exports SVG paths only. Bring the file into CAD (extrude per color) or a slicer workflow that accepts SVG/DXF, assign heights per plate, then slice to 3MF/G-code. We do not generate STL here — that keeps the converter private and focused on clean vector plates.

Photos and soft gradients will posterize; crop and expect a stylized plate set, not a photoreal print.
